Holzbauwerk Schwarzwald GmbH, a prominent German timber company, has officially opened its newest cross laminated timber production plant in Seewald, located in the Freudenstadt district of the Black Forest. The plant has been operational since September 2022 and has the capacity to produce approximately 40,000 m³ of cross laminated timber (CLT) made of spruce and fir annually.
The project was implemented by two managing directors, Jörg Kübler from Holzwerk Kübler in Haiterbach and Manuel Echtle from Sägewerk Echtle in Nordrach, together with shareholder Klaus Henne from Sägewerk Streit in Hausach.
